Technology & Products.
Natural products: We leverage our insights into the physical and chemical properties of organic matter in developing efficient and green extraction/separation methods. These methods are ideal for products entering the organic and natural products market.
Biomass-to-fuel industry: Valen develops scalable chemical conversion technologies that require little input other than electrical energy. This leaves a smaller ecological footprint than conventional approaches.
Specialty chemicals: Valen plumbs the chemical and solvation properties of organic matrices to develop specialty chemicals and lubricants that meet current API and ASTM standards and to explore starting materials for the commodity chemicals industry.
Analytical support: We develop cost-effective chemical analysis methods that support research and development efforts by both small and large organizations involved in the natural products market. This includes low-tech and high-tech tools that suit the immediate and long-term goals of our clients.
